Love Letters: Why I Love Sending Mail

If you know anything about me, you probably know I love writing. Anything. Usually it's songs. A lot of the time it's in a journal. But I also absolutely love writing letters. I always imagine what it would've been like to have to wait to hear from the one you love. No phone calls, no texting...patiently awaiting the delivery of an envelope filled with words you've been dying to hear. 

A few days ago I came across a beautiful set of stationary by Punch Studio at Barnes and Noble - cards adorned with the quote, "Listen carefully, follow your heart, wherever it leads." - a very important and beautiful lesson I recently learned.

This morning I sat down on my couch, made a cup of tea, and filled these cards with my words. I wrote to my friends and to complete strangers. I said "I love you." and "I can't wait to meet you one day."

One of my favorite cards I wrote was to a sweet girl I received a Facebook message from yesterday. She was kind enough to take the time to say she came across my music and enjoyed it. Messages like that always light up my heart. I loved getting to send her a sweet message back. 

I also sent cards to some fellow bloggers that I adore. The Pumpkin Spice Latte card is for Lauren of Someone Like You. She's the most beautiful and stylish coffee addict I know. I also sent one to Lauren of Musings Of A Flower Child and Desirae of Tennessee Rose Blog ♥
